Tullow Uganda Operations Pty Ltd has contracted Gardiine Geosciences Ltd to carry out a bathymetric and geophysical survey to support the development of the onshore oil fields within Lake Albert region of Western Uganda.
Gardline invites only qualified Ugandans who can iully prove to meet the required job specifications and with the right personal attributes to apply for the positions listed below.
Gardline is looking for applicants who are willing to work on a short 2 weeks’ contract.
Applicants must be familiar with Oil and Gas HSEQ standards and have experience with the following specific equipment and software that will be used for the survey:
- Edgetech 6205 SSS/MBES
- Datasonic Chirp ll SBP
- Applanix Pos MV positioning and attitude correction system
- QPS QINSy navigation and bathym etric data logging
- GeoFusion Data processing suite
- Kingdom
- CODA
- CARIS Bathymetric Data Processing software
- QIMERA data processing software
- Autocard
Further to the above, our requirements regarding the personnel will be as follows:
Post: Senior Geologist/ Data Processing and Reporting Leader
8+ years’ experience in geophysical data QC, processing and reporting.
Proven proficiency with software like GeoFusion, Kingdom, CODA.
