Pride is now looking for young, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill the following position.
Post: Credit Officers-Agricultural Lending
The Credit Officer— Agricultural Lending reports to the Credit Supervisor and will be responsible for recruiting of clients and visiting prospective clients‘ businesses and homes to assess credit worthiness.
Specific responsibilities include:-
  • Marketing the Agricultural loan product,
  • Client mobilization, sensitization and training.
  • Loan disbursements.
  • Follow- up and recovery of loans.
  • Ensuring proper filing of all Agricultural loan documentation.
  • Cross-sell the company's products to clients and enhance / protect the reputation of the company at all times.
  • Contribute positively to branch performance by continuously achieving all set targets.
  •  Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Agricultural Land use and Management, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural and Rural innovations, veterinary science or in any other relevant / related field +
  • Candidates should also have 2 principle passes at A’ Level and credit passes in English and Mathematics at O’ Level.
Person Specifications for job position above:
  • Must be able and willing to ride a motorcycle, should possess a riding permit and I or process one within a period not exceeding three months of probation.
  • Should be willing to work in any part of the country.
  • Should be ready to challenge themselves to continuously deliver exceptional performance.
  • Should be computer literate, highly motivated, innovative and a self-starter.
  • Should have excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication & leadership skills.
  • Should be honest, trustworthy and have a high degree of integrity. '
  • Should be fluent in commonly used local languages.
  •  Should not be more than 35 years of age.
