Job brief: An international chain of hotels in Kampala is looking for a professional Graphics Designer to meet various public relations, marketing and promotional needs.
Post: Graphic Designer
Job Purpose: To conceptualize and design promotional material for various PR and campaign activities.
’
Key Result Areas
- Conceptualize and prepare design and layout for sales, marketing and promotional campaign materials like brochures, catalogue, tent cards, menus, saturation, leaflets, invitations, advertorial layout, logos and other materials of the nature of final artwork, nature
- Conceptualize and prepare artworks as requested.
- Direct, supervise and execute photography of various menus and beverage that are being offered by the hotel.\
- University Degree in Visual Arts, Marketing , Computer science or a related course.
- 3 years hands on experience in a similar role gained from a reputable firm. Hotel experience a plus.
- Computer savvy and versed with the use of computer software, Photoshop, Illustrator and other complex computer software.
- Experience in copywriting is a plus.
- Time & self- management skills
- Strong written, presentation & negotiation skills.
- Drive for excellence.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas.
- Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Maintain standards of appearance, personal hygiene, behaviour and discipline
