SHA Uganda Programme will in 2018 start a pilot project with South Sudanese Refugees living in settlement areas in Adiumani District. This project builds on the work that we are now doing in agricultural marketing with the host communities in the refugee settlement areas in Adjumani District, Northern Uganda the project will specifically promote a range of Climate Smart Agriculture technologies so as to support refugee communities to sustainably produce diverse high value nutritious foods in the small plots of land allocated to refugees in settlement areas. SHA is now seeking a competent person for the position of Project Manager for this initiative.
The Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the overall planning and implementation of project activities, ensuring effective financial and budgetary control and will take a lead in processes to identity alternative funding opportunities for the continuation of the activities.
Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes, the Project Manager, key responsibility mas Include:
- Project Management and Administration;
- Partnership and institutional Support;
- Learning Dissemination;
- Advocacy Programme Development; and,
- Networking and partnerships.
