The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is a Public international Organization governed by an international board of directors with representation from developed and developing nations. The non-profit center focuses on increasing and sustaining food and agricultural productivity in developing countries through the development and transfer of effective and environmentally sound crop nutrient technology and agribusiness expertise. IFDC is recruiting staff for the tour year REACH-Uganda Project, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kampala. IFDC is recruiting for the following positions
Position: 2 Regional Agribusiness Specialists
Project: REACH-Uganda Project
Duty Station: Kabale 1, Mbale 1
Grade: 7
Duration: Four Year Project
This position is full time and will be based in Kabale or Mbale. The Regional Agribusiness Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of agribusiness interventions at a regional level (in cooperation with private sector and other partners) ensuring that they effectively deliver against the project targeted outputs as defined in the terms of Reference and Log frame. They should have familiarity with the Making Markets work for the Poor (M4P) approach. and knowledge of the local languages.
