Mengo Hospital is a Church of Uganda founded Hospital and Private Not-For-Profit (PNFP). It is categorized as a General Hospital by Government, but operationally it is a Referral Hospital and has offered treatment to tens of thousands of people over the years. The Missionary Hospital simple structures, have developed into the present-day 300-bed Hospital spread over 22 acres of land at Namirembe Hill. Mengo Hospital seeks to recruit qualified persons to fill the following vacant position:
Job Title: 3 Health Tutors-(1 Midwifery Tutor, 2 Nursing Tutors)
Report to: Principal Tutor - Nurses Training School
Duty Station: Kampala
Job summary:
Preparation and delivery of theoretical and practical training for both the midwifery and nursing students and work in partnership with the course team, students and service users to deliver high quality education, which is relevant to maternal and nursing health service users.
