JOB DETAILS:
Summary of responsibilities.
- Recruit study participants including screening tor eligibility.
- Obtain informed consent and enroll, participants into the study.
- Administer study questionnaires study participants.
- Treat study participants reporting any health issues during the study and/or refer as needed.
- Conduct home visits as part of follow-up of study participants.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Nurse or mid-wife with up-to-date registration and license:
- Strong interviewing skills. including ability to collect high quality interview data.
- Willingness to work in an urban or semi-urban setting.
- Experience in research will be an added advantage.
Summary of responsibilities
- Designing and updating ODK forms/ other electronic forms for data collection.
- Providing IT technical support to the study team
- Daily data backup.
- Daily tracking of study participants,
- Developing data checks and cleaning do - files
- Ensuring that all downloaded data is cleaned and maintaining a clean datasets.
- Providing weekly reports on data collection progress as well as data quality issues
- Providing periodic summary reports to the independent Data Management Centre
- Demonstrated ability to use open data kit (ODK) or other electronic data collection systems.
- At least a diploma in IT, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Highly organized and detail oriented
