JOB DETAILS:
Zayo-Sigma ( ZSA ) Chemical Limited is one of the largest independent suppliers of Fast Moving Consumer goods (FMCG), biochemical and organic chemical products, Laboratory equipment and kits which are used in scientific and genomic research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, the diagnosis of disease and chemical manufacturing.
Position: Accountant
Location: Uganda
Salary Negotiable
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Management of customer accounts and recovery of outstanding debts.
  • Management of purchases, stock and re-order level.
  • Preparation and presentation of profit and loss, balance sheet and final accounts, staff salaries, VAT and tax returns.
  • Preparation and presentation of Budgets and Business Plans.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer data based relationship.
  •  Possesses excellent negotiating skills
Job Requirement:
  • Degree in accounting or ACCAIACAIICMA/CPA or equivalent
  • Previous experience within the finance, collection, arrears management or credit control role is essential
  • Knowledge of accounting software will be of an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years working experience
  • Good IT skills are essential
    Your personal qualities will include excellent working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • You should have a keen eye for details. Self-motivated, you will be able to adopt a proactive and positive approach to your work, and be proficient at organising your workload.
  • Ability to work innovatively, under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines is essential
