Uganda Clays Limned is Uganda loading manufacturer quality building products located at Kajjansi, 14 kilometers Kampala-Entebbe Road with a second factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale. The company seeks to recruit competent and dynamic Individuals of high integrity to fill the following position
Post: Audit Officer, Kajjansi
Job Purpose:
The Audit Officer will be responsible for supporting the internal audit Function at Uganda Clays Kaijansi through the coordination and management of activities that will ensure the implementation of an independent and systematic approach which evaluates and improves the effectiveness at policies, procedures and standards‘ .
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring the achievement of the audit objectives by haying a well-coordinated audit engagements;
- support the heads of department by reviewing and monitoring consistency in the application of policies throughout the organization.
- Carrying out financial Audits.
- Generate reports that meet the engagement objectives in providing management and the board timely, accurate and constructive.
- Review the process of populating the corporate register.
- Lead the team of Audit Assistants, in a manner that empowers them to carry out highly effective audits that add’ value to Uganda Clays operations.
- A degree in any of the following: B.COM, BBA, BBS, Accounting/ Finance.
- Full professional qualification in either: ACCA, CPA OR CIMA.
- Should have good knowledge in computerized accounting and auditing record keeping systems.
- Should have a minimum of 4years’ experience audit gained with e reputable organisation.
- Professional experience working under Audit firms shall be an added advantage.
