We have been working in Africa since 1997, with a primary focus upon East Africa and the Horn region. We have well-established programmes in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Somalia/land and our headquarters are in London.
Saferworld is a growing and ambitious organisation with a clear vision and strategy for our future development. We are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to support the Finance Manager and other team members in operating a strong financial control environment in the Saferworld Kampala office.
The successful candidate will require at least 3 years’ experience of relevant financial management in an NGO or INGO with experience of computerised accounting. S/he will have afirst degree in economics, accounting, finance or business administration, as well as being a graduate or part-qualified member of a recognised accounting body e.g. ACCA or CPA.
