JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation ( UPPC), is a state Corporation established by the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation Act (Cap.330 of the Laws of the Republic of Uganda). The Corporation is mandated to provide security printing and publishing services to the Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and to private individuals and organizations. UPPC developed a five year strategic plan (2017/18-2021/22) and carried out an organizational review intended to create a robust organizational structure that would enable it to deliver on the strategic plan. The outcome of this review is the need for the recruitment of the following key position:
Title: Managing Director
Reports to: Board of Directors
Job Purpose:
To provide the overall strategic direction of Corporation with the aim of improving its effectiveness, efficiency and profitability as guided by the UPPC Act, CAP 330.
Qualification:

Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Finance or Marketing or Economics or International Trade.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Marketing, Economics, IT, Business Administration or Printing and Design.
- Membership of any relevant professional body is an added advantage.
- At least 8 years working experience in a senior management position in a recognized Organization
- Familiarity with the printing industry will be an added advantage.
- Possession of excellent people management skills.
