Core Roles and Responsibilities
Emerging from the need to address disaster management more effectively, the disaster management and climate change program me was initiated in BRAC in 2008. Since then, it has been working to minimize the effects of climate change and reduce the vulnerability ot exposed populations, helping communities globally become a disaster-resilient. With the aim to improve the country's coping abilities to natural and manmade disasters, ER is working to build capacity and competence, both at the institutional and community levels.

Core Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure the implementation & management of the TUP Project.
- Develop the proposal tor the programme & plan to lead programme teams in the key areas of the project design. Provide overall technical support, Supervise '& monitor field operational activities through field visits for smooth implementation of project activities
- Develop & maintain linkages with relevant programmes of BRAC operations in Uganda, external development organizations, other international organizations and other stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets & analyze monthly accounts statement regularly
- Minimum of bachelors in social sciences, Development studies or related. Masters in Development studies is added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in agribusiness approaches with youth livelihood programs, poor communities & NGOs/Development sector. .
- Good technical knowledge on livelihood aspects.
- Sufficient computer skills (MS office proficiency), Report writing & analytical skills
- Ability to work independently work with minimal supervision in a team setting
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, leadership qualifies, culture sensitivity, flexibility, adaptability & resilience.
