JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation ( UPPC), is a state Corporation established by the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation Act (Cap.330 of the Laws of the Republic of Uganda). The Corporation is mandated to provide security printing and publishing services to the Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and to private individuals and organizations. UPPC developed a five year strategic plan (2017/18-2021/22) and carried out an organizational review intended to create a robust organizational structure that would enable it to deliver on the strategic plan. The outcome of this review is the need for the recruitment of the following key position:
Title: Senior Internal Auditor
Reports to: Head Internal Auditor
To ensure compliance and adherence to processes, procedures and policies (SOP) with the aim of maximising the Corporations value for money and minimising the Corporation's risks.
Qualification:
- Membership ofany of the following professional bodies: ACCA or CPA or CIMA or CIA is a MUST.
- Membership to instltute of lnternal Auditors of Uganda is a MUST.
- A good Bachelors degree with a bias in Accounting or Finance or Business Statistics/ Computing or Economics from a recognized University
- Master’s in Business Administration or Finance or Accounting is an added advantage.
Experience of at least 5 years working in a similar job with a reputable organization.
