In line with this, Oxfam in Uganda brings together the joint skillsets of its staff and partners (humanitarian, long/term development, and advocacy) to achieve change at the national level. We do this by building networks, platforms and coalitions with like-minded Civil society actors who campaign with us and lobby duty bearers to bring about change. Oxfam in Uganda also supports and engages in Oxfam's global campaigns, guaranteeing that Uganda is present on the world's most pressing issues. We have recently launched our inequality report and campaign, which considers the dimensions of poverty and drivers of inequality in Uganda. This is aimed attending inequality in Uganda. We are committed to providing thought leadership on important development issues in the country.
To help contribute to these commitments, we are looking for qualified professionals for the following roles:
Post: Project Manager (Based In Kampala)
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Building Resilience Education Opportunities in Fragile Crisis Affected Environments project. The jobholder shall; support Oxfam‘s impact locally, regionally, continentally and globally through ensuring the project's alignment to the key strategic objectives and overall Oxfam program standards; the role supports resource mobilization, specifically for the programme focus areas and ensuring that the promotion of gender and women's rights is at the head of Oxfam in Uganda's program work.
