CARE International in Uganda seeks to recruit highly motivated and qualified development professionals with genuine commitment to roll out and implement the Women and Youth empowerment program (WAY) in partnership with UNFPA to fill up the following position of:
Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator will be a dynamic team player with hands on practical skills in building staff competencies in M&E ensure that project design in proposals is logically sound, beneficiary informed and contextually appropriate, and includes Theory of Change and SMART logical framework. He/ she will be responsible for ensuring that detailed and feasible project monitoring plans are developed; indicator matrices developed and applied; advises on ethical and safe collection and storage of data, conducts data quality audits, stores, protects and shares and updates project documents. He/ She will determine which monitoring activities will take place and which data collection methods will be used to ensure their adequacy and appropriates work with project and support staff to develop, translate pilot and finalize data collection tools as needed; assist the M&E specialist in conducting regular analysis and action planning meetings. Ensure that the minimum standards of humanitarian relief are maintained in accordance with the acceptable emergency and humanitarian protocols.
