Communication for Development Foundation Uganda ( CDFU ) is a non-governmental organization that provides Development Communication services aimed at influencing positive behaviors for the social development of men, women and children. CDFU is a partner on the USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services in East Central Uganda Activity (USAID/Uganda RHITES EC). The purpose of this Activity is implementation of a comprehensive integrated investment in regional health, nutritional assistance and HIVIAIDS programs. The five-year Activity collaborates with 11 districts in East-Central Uganda. CDFU wishes to recruit qualified Ugandans to fill in the following post:
Position: 3 Project Assistants (SBCC) in-charge of Community mobilization
Reports to: SBCC Officer
Commitment: full time
Location/ Duty; stations: District Clusters in Busoga sub-region
Job summary
To work closely with the SBCC Program Officer and mainly support implementation of all social and behavior change communication activities at cluster level.
(Note: Ability to speak and understand Lusoga or Luganda local languages will be an added advantage).
