Position: Gender and Protection Officer
Reports to: Programme Officer
Location: Arua Duties:
- Representing Andre Foods International gender & protection issues, identifying opportunities to advocate for the rights of the children and women through exchange of information, negotiation and lobbying.
- Actively participate in needs assessments, post distribution monitoring and field visit.
- Support the development of proposals to incorporate Protection and Gender concerns and aspects
- Plan, implement and carryout activities and report on any specific Protection and Gender activities which are required and necessary.
- Develop a checklist for safe programming, protection and gender mainstreaming in collaboration with Andre Foods International programming team and partner staff.
- University degree in one o1 the following disciplines: Social Sciences, International Development, Gender Studies, Law, Human Rights, Political Science or any related discipline.
- Not less than two (2) years oi‘ working experience in the same field.
- Speaking any of these languages Lugbara, Kakwa and Arabi will be an added advantage.
