We do this by building networks, platforms and coalitions with like-minded civil society actors who campaign with us and lobby duty-bearers to bring about change. Oxfam in Uganda also supports and engages in 0xfam's global campaigns, guaranteeing that Uganda is present on the world's most pressing issues. We have recently launched our inequality report and campaign, which considers the dimensions of poverty and drivers of inequality in Uganda. This is aimed at ending inequality in Uganda. We are committed to providing thought leadership on important development issues in the country.
To help contribute to these commitments, we are looking for exceptional professionals for the following roles:

Post: Linking and Learning Officer
Currently, Oxfam is implementing the Voice Project, Which is a new innovative grant facility that supports the most marginalized and discriminated people in ten low- and lower-middle income countries in Africa and Asia. it aims to amplify and connect thus far unheard voices in efforts to leave no one behind. The Voice Project provides resources to strengthen the influencing capacity of civil society organizations and representatives of the most discriminated and marginalized people, particularity support for groups to create a safe space to meet, to create confidence, sell-esteem, build awareness and skills, building broader civil society support for demands of these groups, including strengthening alliances and networks, media and communication work and use technologies for evidence- based lobby and advocacy and influence policy, behavior and practice.
Specific job responsibilities
Support the Voice Project Coordinator in the assessment and analyses of capacity development needs of grantees; facilitate contracting and post contract grant management of linking and teaming and capacity development providers; documentation and communication of lessons learnt and best practices of capacity development support and influencing, and mapping of knowledge gaps among the target group(s) and grantees ; develop a common national approach of linking and teaming together with key stakeholders and align the M&E framework; implement Linking & Learning and innovative interventions such as teaming events, facilitate constitution of Communities of Practice, support realization of innovation labs at country level; promote and oversee the use of Linking and Learning infrastructure for sharing lessons learnt and Support the analyses, validation and aggregation of teaming; managing the Linking and Learning component effectively among grantees and other programmes within Oxfam and promote inclusive and participatory practices
Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge
The person we are looking for will have a Master's Degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy/Administration or other management field; at least 5 years‘ experience in designing and facilitating linking and teaming activities; monitoring and evaluation; ability to apply linking and teaming methodologies, work effectively with a wide range of people in a multicultural environment, convene, document, share and profile lessons learnt; coaching, coordination, communication skills such as digital communication; Knowledge of and affinity with gender, social inclusion, marginalization, influencing, and capacity development prioritizing and performing complex tasks, flexible it creative.
