Center for Domestic Violence Prevention ( CEDOVIP ) seeks a full time program manager to support the Executive Director in the implementation of CEDOVIP‘s strategic plan and to provide leadership to the program and administration staff, and Local Activism program Officers to implement the community mobilization activities. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated commitment to promote gins and women's rights. S/he will be committed to getting results in a fast paced environment. CEDOVIP is a local NGO that works to prevent violence against Women and girls (VAWG) in Uganda. We work with women, men, government institutions, policy makers, civil society and the media.
Position: Program Manager
Qualifications for program manager position
- At least 8 years relevant work experience in violence against women prevention with at ieast4 years in management.
- Excellent writing and computer skills.
- MA degree or relevant experience.
- Proven commitment to VAW prevention work.
- Experience in/familiarity with CEDOVIP methodologies a plus.
