JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation ( UPPC), is a state Corporation established by the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation Act (Cap.330 of the Laws of the Republic of Uganda). The Corporation is mandated to provide security printing and publishing services to the Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and to private individuals and organizations. UPPC developed a five year strategic plan (2017/18-2021/22) and carried out an organizational review intended to create a robust organizational structure that would enable it to deliver on the strategic plan. The outcome of this review is the need for the recruitment of the following key position:
Title: Finance and Accounting Manager
Reports to: Managing Director
Job Purpose:
To establish, implement and manage a robust financial and accounting system that will promote and sustain the Corporation’s performance.
Qualification:
- MBA (Finance or Accounting)
- ACCA or CPA or CIA or CIMA is a MUST
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or Business Statistics/ Computing obtained from a recognized institution.
At least 6 years ‘working experience in financial management, 3 of which should have been gained at a senior management level from a reputable organization.
