Post: Gender Equality Coordinator- Sustainable Development Goals - WASH Project:
Kamuli (1 Position) - 5 years with an inception period of 9 months.
This position will provide gender technical leadership in the planning, implementation and monitoring to influence gender equality and social inclusion through our WASH interventions, both for women and girls, as well as across social (ethnic, caste, class) groups. He / she will ensure empowerment of women and girls and of socially marginalized or excluded groups. Facilities will be designed to reach the entire population in an area, but with specific attention for adolescent girls, women and marginalized or excluded people. Within the programme a gender transformative WASH approach will be developed, tested and implemented which aims to go beyond equal access to WASH products and services but to empower women and girls and improve gender equality.
