SHA‘s vision is an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa with a mission to support sustainable livelihoods for Uganda's smallholder farmers. SHA has been working in Uganda for close to 20 years. SHA urgently seeks to recruit suitable candidates to fill the following position:
Post: Lead Driver (Based in Kampala)
Reporting directly to the Senior Administrator, the Lead Driver is responsible for managing Sell Help Africa drivers for the efficient operation and maintenance of the Self Help Africa motorcycle and motor vehicle fleet, for driving and ensuring the safety and security of authorized passengers on board in line with Self Help Africa policy and the traffic laws and regulations of Uganda.
Key areas of responsibilities include:
- Supervise driver assignments, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Work closely with the Senior Administrator to organize logistics and reports
- Under the supervision of the Senior Administrator, ensure that the Self Help Africa vehicles and motorcycles are properly maintained so that they are able to operate safely
