AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title : Light Vehicle Drivers
Location: Kampala and Field settlements
Responsible For: Vehicle administration and fuel control Job Summary: General maintenance and repair oft e Vehicle.
Job Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:
- Uganda Certificate of Education
- Ability to read and write
- The candidate should be self - motivated
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to travel to any part of the country
- Ability to work for long hours
- Valid Driving license and ability to drive heavy duty Trucks is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in any part of the Country
