Main Job Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for the following; Support the development of Project activities in the subsidiary and actively participate in Planning, development and Joint Venture Activates as detailed;
- Participate in the establishment of integrated planning for Uganda through process governance and use of Primavera tool
- Develop the planning of in-country activities in liaison with various entities, analyze the overall integrated, planning and inform management to support decision making.
- Collapse data from the Joint Venture Partners and other third parties to develop a good understanding of the planning
- Assist in the preparation of the long-term plan and budget for the affiliate and carry out evaluations and comparisons of development options in liaison with the economist
- Coordinate & consolidate development activities from different departments, follow up comments from partners and authorities related to the affiliate’s development plans, participate in development studies in coordination with project, teams
- In addition Present project technical updates to partners and authorities, provide inputs for the various meetings with partners and authorities
- Monitor technical activities of the partners and ensure head office benefits from feedback of non-operated developments
- Provide the management with key technical decision-making points related to planning and development of operated and non-operated projects
- Ensure internal and external reporting on the development activity by providing details on technical, planning and budgetary aspects Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Planning and development for Oil and Gas or any other technical Development Projects
- Knowledge of Planning tools such as Primavera
- Good communication, analytical, interpersonal and organization skills
- Open minded and dynamic disposition
