AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title : Program Assistants
Location: Field settlements
Responsible For: Assist in Coordinating AIRD Program activities
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Program Officers/Site managers, the Program Assistant will be responsible for providing project and operational support to the Management of Logistics and Supply, Shelter and infrastructure Projects.
Job Qualifications:
- A University Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences or any other related degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant program related experience is required
- Excellent knowledge of project Management and support is required
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and other database Packages
