JOB DETAILS:
AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title : Resettlement Officers
Location: Field settlements
Responsible For: Working in co - operation with the program officer to ensure that refugees are resettled in time
Job Summary: Arrange and coordinate the transportation of refugees and asylum seekers, accommodation and meals for all referrals.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in social sciences or any other related Studies.
- At least 4 years working experience in related operations .
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and database packages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of honesty and Integrity
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in any part of the country
- Multi-linguistic ability is an added advantage.
