AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title: Senior Human Resource Officer
Location: Kamipala
Responsible for: Ensuring that human resource team is up to date and working in line with the organisation SOP and country labor laws to meet organisational goals.
Job Summary: Manage the human resource team to deliver effective, efficient and legally compliant services to meet organisation needs and achieve value for money.
Job Qualifications:
- Masters degree in human resource management, management or Post graduate qualification
- At least live years working experience in human resource position preferably in an NGO setting
- Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc. and database packages(HRMS
- Good Understanding of the country labor laws is a MUS
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of honesty and Integrity
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in any part of the country
