AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title : Central warehouse Assistants
Location: Kampala
Responsible For: Assist warehouse officer to proper maintenance of the Warehouse are maintained
Job Summary: Working in co - operation with the Warehouse Officer to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Project guidelines.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in stores management, procurement and supply chain management or Logistics/any other related Business Studies.
- At least two years working experience in logistics operations
- Experience in the use of computers and office sofiware packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and database packages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in any part of the country
