JOB DETAILS:
Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa, Eastern Europe and North America
Role Position: Study interviewer
(01 position, Kampala)
Reporting to the CRS Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting interviews in a non-biased, non-judgemental manner by helping study participants feel comfortable sharing their personal information and opinions while asking questions in a consistent manner Overall responsibilities: Provide general overview and concept of the study to potential participants as appropriate, Administer inten/iews to study participants, and complete CRFs and source documents as appropriate, Review each form and questionnaire to ensure that all of the questions were asked and that all of the solicited data has been recorded. Furthermore, ensure that any relevant comments were duly registered, Daily collection of study data within the stipulated iimelines as per allocated study protocols, Maintain high levels oi confidentiality in regard to participant information and data while observing GCP guidelines and regulations, Keep all research documents secure and complete data transfer forms while transferring data to another staff, Collect and rile any required data for completion of Case Report Forms (CRFs) during their interaction of the study participants including photocopying and certifying the required original documents from health facility, Prepare and submit weekly study interview reports to the study coordinator, the study team and key stakeholders:

Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
- A Degree in Social Sciences, Community Psychology and any relevant degree
- The candidate must have at least two (2) years of working experience in health research institutions and (2) two years’ experience in conducting qualitative interviews
- Fluency in Luganda as a language both written and Spoken
