JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation ( UPPC), is a state Corporation established by the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation Act (Cap.330 of the Laws of the Republic of Uganda). The Corporation is mandated to provide security printing and publishing services to the Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies and to private individuals and organizations. UPPC developed a five year strategic plan (2017/18-2021/22) and carried out an organizational review intended to create a robust organizational structure that would enable it to deliver on the strategic plan. The outcome of this review is the need for the recruitment of the following key position:
Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer
Reports to: Procurement Manager
Job Purpose:
To initiate, plan, implement, monitor and manage the procurement function of the Corporation as provided for by the PPDA procurement guidelines.
Qualification:
At least 5 years working experience in a procurement field.

- Possession of a Professional Qualification in Procurement (MCIPS) is a MUST.
- A University Degree in Procurement or Business Administration/ Statistics/ Computing or Marketing or Finance or Accounting or Economics or Statistics or law or any other relevant field.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Procurement or Business Administration or Marketing or Finance or Accounting or Economics will be an added advantage.
At least 5 years working experience in a procurement field.
