We are looking for position to join our team.
Post: Data Analyst/ M&E Officer
Main duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate professional data collection in our farmer support teams;
- Improve and expand the internal M&E systems, including contribution to the development of smart-phone M&E apps;
- Analyse data for i) internal and donor reporting; ii) identify areas of improvement; and m) measure impact of Kyagalanyi‘s farmer support teams;
- Prepare technical reports for management and donors;
- Monitor implementation of project activities and overall progress towards set targets; and
- Train farmer support staff to improve quality of data collection.
- BSc or MSc in Monitoring & Evaluation; Business Statistics; Agricultural Science; Quantitative Economics or related subject;
- Min. 2 year work experience in M&E team, agri-business or related field;
- Proven strong skills in Excel (including Vlookup) and statistical packages;
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret large data sets;
- Proven ability to work independently;
- Good understanding of coffee production and agricultural extension is a strong advantage;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working
