We are looking for position to join our team.
Post: Data Analyst/ M&E Officer
Main duties and responsibilities
  • Coordinate professional data collection in our farmer support teams;
  • Improve and expand the internal M&E systems, including contribution to the development of smart-phone M&E apps;
  • Analyse data for i) internal and donor reporting; ii) identify areas of improvement; and m) measure impact of Kyagalanyi‘s farmer support teams;
  • Prepare technical reports for management and donors;
  • Monitor implementation of project activities and overall progress towards set targets; and
  • Train farmer support staff to improve quality of data collection.
Candidate Specifications
  • BSc or MSc in Monitoring & Evaluation; Business Statistics; Agricultural Science; Quantitative Economics or related subject;
  • Min. 2 year work experience in M&E team, agri-business or related field;
  • Proven strong skills in Excel (including Vlookup) and statistical packages;
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret large data sets;
  • Proven ability to work independently;
  • Good understanding of coffee production and agricultural extension is a strong advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working
