JOB DETAILS:
ICPAU is the national professional accountancy body in Uganda, established by the Accountants Act.
The institute is mandated to:
- Regulate and maintain the Standard of Accountancy in Uganda.
- Prescribe and regulate the conduct of accountants and practicing Accountants in Uganda.
- Have a good command of the English Language (both spoken and written);
- Have excellent communication and computer skills;
- Have good interpersonal skills;
- Be a team builder/ player;
- Have analytical and problem solving skills; and
- Be creative, innovative, adaptable and have a passion for quality.
DIRECTOR CORPORATE SERVICES - DCS2011/03/18 (1 position)
The Director - Corporate Services will be a strategic, hands-on and participative leader. The job holder will be responsible for leading and developing an internal team to support the following areas: planning and budgeting, finance, human resources, administration, and ICT. The job holder will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as ICPAU continues to enhance its quality programmes and build capacity. The job holder will provide technical and administrative support to Committees of Council in charge of planning, development, finance and human resources.
