JOB DETAILS:
ICPAU is the national professional accountancy body in Uganda, established by the Accountants Act.
The institute is mandated to:
  • Regulate and maintain the Standard of Accountancy in Uganda.
  • Prescribe and regulate the conduct of accountants and practicing Accountants in Uganda.
The Institute seeks to recruit dynamic, visionary, courteous, self-driven, energetic and committed professionals of high integrity who can bring expertise in their fields. In addition to other skills, the ideal candidates should, among others:

  • Have a good command of the English Language (both spoken and written);
  • Have excellent communication and computer skills;
  • Have good interpersonal skills;

  • Have analytical and problem solving skills; and

The Director for Education provides leadership in all matters relating to the education function at the ICPAU and is responsible for IFAC’S SMO 2, PAEB and the Committee of Council in charge of Education.
