RTI International l is currently accepting applications for several professional positions related to the anticipated USAID/Uganda Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) opportunity. The Uganda HSS project will focus on improving leadership and accountability for results in public and private health sectors, increasing availability and improving management of key health systems resources, and strengthening community systems for quality health services.
Position Summary: Finance & Administration Director
Provides management oversight tor all financial and administrative aspects of the protect. Oversees finance, operations, human resource management, logistics, procurement, administration and information technology project support and ensures compliance with Fill and USAID procedures. The position will be based with RTI in Kampala and local travel may be required.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree and 12 years of experience in business administration, accounting, economics, or finance.
- At least 9 years‘ experience in international donor-funded financial and administrative management, with a minimum of 5 years of senior-level responsibility for managing F&A tor USAID-funded projects/programs.
- Experience with finance management, accounting and auditing, procurement and the establishment of internal controls, and administration of grants under contract.
- Experience with strategic program planning, annual work planning and budgeting;
- Experience managing successful teams working in multiple locations/field offices.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, supervisory, leadership and managerial skills.
