lgara- Buhweju Tea farmers Sacco is a newly formed SACCO registered with Ministry of Trade and cooperatives. Membership is composed of Tea farmers and Tea workers in greater Bushenyi District. It is seeking to recruit competent personnel in following positions. The SACCO is an equal opportunity employer and female candidates are encouraged to apply
Title: 2 Accountants
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that disbursed loans are paid following prescribed procedures
- Daily reporting to the manager on performance of member savings and loans
- Financial planning including budgeting and budget monitoring
- Preparing financial reports
- Advising and foreseeing prudent financial management and controls are done
- Implementing and advising all staff on SACCO accounting policies and procedures
- Knowledge of tax laws and other statutory obligations
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting I Finance, BBA, BCOM or any relevant course. Professional course in accounting is an added advantage
- At least 2 years’ experience as an accountant in a reputable organist ion.
- Age between 25-35 yrs.
