Uganda Clays Limited is Uganda's leading manufacturer of quality building products located at Kajjansi, 14 Kilometers along Kampala-Entebbe Road with a second factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale. The company seeks to recruit competent and dynamic individuals of high integrity to fill the following position:
Post: ICT Assistants-Kamonkoli and Kajjansi
Job Purpose:
To provide technical, operational and procedural support and end user services in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of information technology systems, procedures and ‘activities of Uganda Clays, in accordance with the ICT work plan.
Key responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage company ICT equipment inventory ensuring that hardware is fully operational and secure at all times’
- To contribute towards the effective operation of UCL’s data systems and servers.
- To provide professional ICT support to users to maximize their capacity to use ICT in their work.
- Work according to Uganda Clay's Quality and Safety procedures at all times.
- Render support in the installation, testing and implementation of new ICT systems, and the support of existing systems.
- A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT or Information Systems.
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) specifically in maintenance of MS Dynamics NAV 2016 and SQL server.
- Professional qualifications in (MCSE, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, Cyber Roam Admin etc.
- At least 2 years’ experience in IT gained from a reputable organisation.
- Good knowledge base in SQL Server, Linux Server, Cyber Roam and networking skills.
- Good knowledge in programming languages.
