Post: 2 Security Officer
Reports to: Security Manager
Department: Legal
Purpose To safeguard the institution property personnel and maintaining order, act as a liaison between BRAC personnel and Law enforcement authorities and administers security devices and setting at all BRAC facilities.
CORE RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements security policies, protocols and procedures to maximize safety and security of all BRAC staff and assets
- Assist in emergency response and contingency planning
- Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following security risk management procedures.
- Report compliance issues relating to all security contracted services on a weekly basis to the Security Manager and also to prepare weekly security reports to the security manager.
- Detect crime, arrest wrongdoers at the premises, escort them to police and testify in courts of law.
- Ensure BHAC security gadgets/systems are in good working conditions
- Any other duty that may be assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in any academic Discipline, knowledge in Security administration, counter-terrorism, evacuations, first aid and other basic skills on security related certificates are an added advantage.
- 5 years experience in a high security threat environment preferably in a big Organization
