Uganda Clays Limited is Uganda's leading manufacturer of quality building products located at Kajjansi, 14 Kilometers along Kampala-Entebbe Road with a second factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale. The company seeks to recruit competent and dynamic individuals of high integrity to fill the following position:
Post: Security Guard-Kabale
Job Purpose:
To ensure that the property being guarded, along with all vehicles, contents and the staff, clients are safe and secure at all times; access control & regular security reporting in a timely and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities:
- To secure the business premises of UCL and ensuring safety of people and property.
- Implement access control strategies to prevent un authorized entry and/or exit of persons and items to/from UCL premises for the safety of staff, clients, visitors and other stakeholders.
- Provide an efficient and effective security service for safety and protection of staff, visitors, clients, providers and property at UCL.
- Implement the key management system to ensure control and facilitate easy access of offices and or buildings.
- Completing all documentation regarding the in-ward and outward movement of materials.
- To ensure that all reporting associated with security matters is carried out in an accurate and efficient manner.
- A minimum of Ordinary Level/UCE qualification.
- 2 years’ experience in the security field, or a certificate of a security course.
- Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Experience with electronic security systems.
- Ability to interact and communicate with people and write clear concise reports.
