JOB DETAILS:
AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Kampala and field settlements
Responsible For: Receive and disburse money to facilitate AIRD activities.
Job Summary: Carry out the receiving and disbursement of organization funds according to the policies and procedures of the organization, keep records of cash movement and report periodically for bank or cash replenishment.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce with specialty in finance Accounting
- At least one year previous experience in similar position
- Good computer skills
- High level ot honesty and Integrity
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in any part of the country
