JOB DETAILS:
AIRD Uganda is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making international NGO. AIRD is currently working in 9 African countries in East, Central and West Africa.
AIRD’s objectives is to offer operational support, including but not limited to; supply chain, logistics, construction, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WAH in partnership with relief and development organisations which focus on disaster-affected and development oriented areas.
AIRD is seeking for qualified personnel (internal and external) to fill the position to be implemented in 2018:
Job Title: M&E Officer
Location: Kampala and Field offices
Responsible for: Providing support in monitoring and evaluating ongoing projects in the field.
Job Summary: Assessing all AIRD field activities and making sure ongoing works are as per the AIR policies an procedures and donor requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Science, Social or natural science discipline
- Knowledge and understanding of Project monitoring and evaluation
- Minimum 2 years experience in monitoring and evaluation with at least 1 year with an international organisation
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating Logistics and civil works Projects
- Experience of field data collection
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of honesty and Integrity
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to work in any part of the country
