JOB DETAILS:
Africa Educational Trust (AET) Uganda specializes in improving access to and the quality of primary and secondary education. AET is looking to recruit dynamic people to fill the following position:
Country Manager: Based in Kampala, the Country Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of project and administration staff and is directly responsible for operations in Uganda. They should have a Degree in education, or a relevant field and be knowledgeable about education sector policy and practice in Uganda. They should bring a minimum of two years’ programme management experience including staff and financial management. Strong communication, leadership and people management skills are essential, as is the ability to network, build relationships with key stakeholders and be a creative problem solver. They should have excellent written English and experience of fundraising.
